CAUTIONS:

Assembly procedure:
        Note:
Both ends feature same cut and trim specifications and the back shells of the connectors are the same and are interchangeable.
These instruction apply to both ends of the cable.

Important, This is the code used for this cable... You must translate the Hot, Neutral and Ground relative to you country.
!! FOLLOW THIS COLOR CODE !!
    GREEN Wire = GROUND
    BLACK Wire = LOAD = HOT    = L
    WHITE Wire = NEUTRAL         = N

1. Examine the contents of your kit, Look at and understand how the connections work... pretty easy to understand.

2.Place one of the connector back shells on the cable, note the proper direction... it fits to the respective plug only one way, both types of plugs use identical back shells.

3.Measure 1 inch from back of one end of the cable and note the location..
measure back...carefully trim back the jacket with a razor blade or very sharp knife encircling the jacket but don't cut the inner insulations of the inner conductors.

the bladeNote the jacket cuts easily, do not cut all of the way through the outer jacket...
but deep enough that it yields when bent over...
bend to break. After the outer jacket is removed, it slides off easy...

4.Trim away the exposed gray strength strings.
cut the strings.

5.Remove the insulation from about half of each of the 3 conductors. Don't nick individual strands that will weaken them or they will fall off at the slightest bend.

6.Loosen and open the plug conductors set screws.

7.Twist the strands of the conductors and ready them for insertion into the power inlet end plug.
.

8. Place a drop of the JENA Conductor enhancement fluid on the 3 conductors. just a drop per wire will do.
prep wires and use fluid

9. Insert the wires all at the same time into the absolutely correct color coded location for each of the 3 conductors... do not make a mistake, do not allow for missed wires, do not allow for wire crossover to the wrong location (short circuit) zero tolerance for failure here.

The IEC end about to be inserted...
IEC wires. Note that the wires are pre bent to fit with ease... Easy to do.

10. Double check the color of the wire and of the prong it is going to.... Then tighten the screws for each of the conductor wires. Tight but not tight enough to strip the threads of the screws.... think and be smart about it... if you are a gorilla on the terminals, it will strip out.  Remember the terminals are a brass and the screws are a soft-ish metal designed to be electrically useful.  Not high or even medium torque required to get a great crush (hint, when it feels like it is requiring a greater effort to get that extra budge on the screw.... you are at the point of striping it, forever lost.

12. Slide the previously placed end shell onto the plug body, orientation is only one way. it is keyed with a plastic ridge inside of the shell and it has a corresponding key way on the body of the connector.

13. Tighten the screws to the plug and back shell, make sure the back shell is secured to the body of the connector.

14. Tighten the cable clamp screws uniformly on the back shell last. ( hint when the cable looks symmetrical to the back shell where the seal gland is, it is likely well clamped.

Repeat procedure on the AC inlet plug end that you have acquired from you local supplier for you countrys AC power requirements
