AUDIOPHILE
AUDITION is the web magazine version
of the national radio series which aired
for over 13 years on up to 200 stations coast
to coast. AUDIOPHILE AUDITION is unique among
web audio publications due to placing an
emphasis on the classical, jazz & rock
recordings, SSfM [Surround Sound for Music]
and both new high-res formats - rather than
just on the audio equipment. 25 to 30 SACDs
and DID-As are reviewed each month. We also
review three audio components each month
and have many other features such as weekly
Audio News, a survey of the print
audio magazines, international audio club
listings and more.

We
have known George Cardas for many years. We consider him a friend.
George helped us in our younger days, and we have not forgotten. He and
his company, now run by his daughter Colleen, are one of those rarities
in business. They have integrity, and function with purpose and
honesty. The company always takes the high road in its affairs, and

Feedback Online (PFO) is first and foremost a community, composed of
writers and creative persons from around the world. PFO is an ongoing
“work in progress,” chronicling the efforts of audiophile
listeners, reviewers, designers, manufacturers, distributors, and
humorists to explore the possibilities of high-end audio. Any
audiophile with something worthwhile to say is welcome to contribute to
PFO. No false and misleading barriers are put up against manufacturers,
nor do we assume that individuals commercially involved with high end
audio are automatically suspect. Informed members of the
design/manufacture/distribution community have been enthusiastic and
supportive contributors to Positive Feedback from the beginning, with
no messy controversies about “conflict of interest.”
